The Owo dance in Okposi of Ebonyi State
The Owo dance is a fetish and traditional music and dance used to commemorate traditional title holders. It is also used during the burial/funerals of these title holders. Normally, members of these titles don’t dance to the tune of such band. It is used to bid farewell these title holders such as the Onyibes and Oshiahus. Owo dance and bands are dominantly used in the old Ohaozara.
